Our mission is to service students of all abilities so that they may learn in the most beneficial educational setting that prepares them to be critical thinkers and productive members of society that strive to meet and exceed their expectations.

The Upward Bound School Inc was formally established in 2022 by Founding Executive Director Christopher Chaidez. Currently working as a non-public agency, hiring independent contractors to send to schools/charter schools/virtual schools in need of special needs service providers.
We are trying to open a non-public school and service the students on-site and provide innovative and research-based curriculums tailored to each student's unique needs, strengths, and preferences., lesson plans, and strategies for core academic areas, language development, social-emotional skills, and transition to adulthood.

Our approach addresses social interaction challenges, speech difficulties, nonverbal communication issues, and restricted or repetitive behaviors using a data-driven systematic approach. We utilize Applied Behavior Analysis principles to create individualized intervention plans and reinforce positive behaviors through techniques like tangibles, token economy, verbal praise, and nonverbal communication. Students also receive academic support across various areas, such as oral expression, listening comprehension, written expression, reading skills, mathematical calculations, and problem-solving. Accommodations, modifications, assistive technology, and positive behavior support are incorporated into daily lessons and activities. Our aim is to provide comprehensive and tailored educational experiences for students across diverse eligibility categories.
