Background Statement

Anatolia Cultural Centers, founded in 2013 and located in Lake Forest, is a nonprofit organization promoting education, cultural enrichment, and community integration. Through diverse programs in arts, science, and social services, it supports immigrants and fosters values like compassion and respect. Collaborating with local institutions, it strives to enhance access to education and lifelong learning.

Impact Statement

At Anatolia Cultural Centers, we are committed to empowering youth and fostering cross-cultural understanding through impactful programs. As we approach 2025, we are focused on expanding the reach of our initiatives to serve more individuals and communities. Our core programs continue to make a lasting difference, and we are excited to grow their capacity in the coming year.

1. International Festival of Language and Culture
The International Festival unites students from various countries to showcase their cultural heritage through performances in English and their native languages. In 2025, we aim to expand the festival, inviting more schools and international groups, and adding interactive workshops to deepen cultural immersion.

2. Summer Camps
Our summer camps offer a unique experience for youth from seventh grade to college age, combining traditional camp activities with leadership and cultural programs. We plan to increase our camp offerings in 2025, including specialized tracks in career development, global citizenship, and sustainability, reaching a wider audience.

3. Mentorship Training Program
This program equips aspiring mentors with the skills to guide and support others. In 2025, we aim to expand the program, offering more training opportunities and establishing mentorship partnerships to strengthen community leadership.

4. Saturday Enrichment and Afterschool Programs
These programs provide educational and recreational activities for K-12 students outside of school hours. In 2025, we aim to increase accessibility and add specialized activities to further enhance academic and personal growth.

5. Cloth and Food Donation Programs
Our donation programs support community members facing economic hardships. In 2025, we plan to expand this initiative by partnering with local businesses and organizations to provide more support to those in need.

In 2025, Anatolia Cultural Centers will increase the capacity of all our programs, ensuring that more youth and families benefit from these transformative opportunities.
