Break Every Chain Foundation Inc. (B.E.C.F.I.) was founded and awarded a 501 (c) (3) status in 2017. Our passion to help people is only surpassed by their compassion for having their needs met

In Over the past few years, B.E.C.F.I has made a significant impact in the lives of over 10,000 individuals. Through our dedicated efforts, we have provided essential support in the form of food, clothing, rent assistance, help equity, youth training programs, housing, employment opportunities, and life skills training. Our organization is committed to addressing the immediate needs of those we serve while also equipping them with the necessary tools to build a brighter future. By offering comprehensive assistance and guidance, we have empowered individuals to overcome challenges and achieve self-sufficiency. The impact of our work extends far beyond the numbers, as each person we have helped represents a life positively transformed. We are proud to have
made a tangible difference in the lives of thousands in our community and remain dedicated to continuing our mission of providing invaluable support to those in need.

In the community that we serve, we have encountered several challenges while providing assistance to the unhoused individuals who are powerful and knowledgeable but need a helping hand to be empowered. These challenges include:

1. Lack of affordable housing: One of the major problems faced by the unhoused individuals is the lack of affordable housing options. Many of them struggle to find stable and safe accommodation, which limits their ability to regain stability and independence.

2. Limited access to healthcare: The unhoused population often faces difficulties in accessing adequate healthcare services. This can lead to untreated medical conditions, exacerbating their existing health issues and making it difficult for them to improve their circumstances.

3. Stigma and discrimination: There is a prevalent stigma and discrimination against the unhoused individuals, which further marginalizes them and hinders their ability to reintegrate into society. Negative stereotypes can make it challenging for them to access employment, education, and other opportunities for empowerment.

Serving as Board President it is My pleasure, to establish and guide, as well as direct a strategic direction to all board members ensuring that teamwork and the necessary resources needed are appropriate and effective for the service rendered to the community. Donors and partnering collaborators both current and future are also welcomed to information Data and outcomes if so requested. I take enjoyment and pleasures in my ability in providing up-to-date management and policies procedures, regular board meetings are held to ensure organization board policies are regularly reviewed, and discussed focusing on positive outcomes and simulations for those who are most in need.
