The Craig School

To provide a safe and nurturing environment in which children can connect, communicate, and create.

The Craig School integrates comprehensive social teaching and applied behavior analysis strategies into the classroom in a student-centered learning environment.

The Craig School’s innovative spirit is energized by its deep connection to the 30-year history of the Child Development Center School program at the University of California, Irvine, the source of numerous national research studies informing best practices in the education of and support for children with ADHD.

The Craig School (TCS) is certified as a California Nonpublic School (NPS), allowing it to contract directly with school districts wishing to place students in our program.

The Craig School has a tuition assistance program for eligible families with identified financial needs.

Greater Orange County

This school is the successor to the 30-year program based at UC Irvine known as the Child Development School, which closed in 2019. A group of parents of students that attended the program came together to found The Craig School to continue the program developed at UCI which was so impactful in transforming the lives of their children. Thanks to their hard work, the help of generous donors and the recruitment of our outstanding faculty and staff, the program continues to serve children and adolescents in grades 3 through 8 who need cognitive-behavioral training in a nurturing educational environment.
