Gymnastics Program
Our year-round program is an introduction to recreational gymnastics beginner level classes for students ages: 4-15. Us Too Gym's specially designed program works with students with autism and other disabilities, to help them achieve their highest potential. The adaptive program is tailored to meet the needs of each individual, making sure the student will be successful. And because of our small student to coach ratio, we are better equipped to handle behavioral, social and physical challenges. And for those students who are able to participate, we offer an inclusive mainstream class setting.
The program's outcome is measured by two things: 1. The number of students enrolled in the program and the length of enrollment. And 2. By the physical improvement each individual student presents over their enrollment period.
Currently, out of the 100+ students enrolled in the program, about 60% of those students have been enrolled for a period of two or more years, proving that the outcome is successful.
Summer Camp for students with disabilities
A week long summer camp offered in July. Campers will meet for three hours during a five day period to have the opportunity to experience a summer camp just like neurotypical peers do. Activities during camp include: gymnastics, athletic games, a social outing on the last day, arts and crafts and fun games with peers. Students will benefit from peer interaction supervised by gym staff.
All participants will benefit from having the opportunity to be part of a summer camp where their needs are understood and not judged.
