Boys Hope Girls Hope of Southern California

Empowering Youth. Building Futures. Boys Hope Girls Hope provides long-term housing and academic scholarships to help motivated youth overcome adversity and reach their full potential. We serve children ages 10 to 18 in two family-style boarding homes in Orange County, offering up to eight years of stable, supportive care. Our scholars come from challenging backgrounds—poverty, homelessness, abuse, or loss of a parent—but they also show exceptional promise, strong character, and the drive to succeed. With the support of our program, they receive: Scholarships to top-tier college preparatory schools like Mater Dei and Rosary High School Daily academic support, tutoring, and mentoring Transportation, meals, and basic needs A safe, nurturing home environment Ongoing support through college and young adulthood Unlike emergency shelters or short-term housing programs, Boys Hope Girls Hope offers a true home—one that emphasizes education, structure, and personal growth. We partner with families to intervene early, providing a stable foundation so these incredible young people can thrive. At Boys Hope Girls Hope, college isn’t just a dream—it’s the expectation.

Outcomes

The long-term success of our program continues to be measured by: (1) the percentage of scholars going to college upon high school graduation; and (2) our scholars’ rates of college enrollment and graduation.
