Sol Do: Creative Arts Festival
Sol-Do is a nature-based music and arts festival that focuses on connection and creativity. We believe creativity is a human right and that the most valuable works of art are made in our own backyard. We aim to celebrate the talent of local Orange County creatives—musicians writing their own songs, artists hand-making their own pieces—through a day-long, free festival away from our busy city lives. Traditionally, large music festivals hosted in destination landscapes come with a high ticket price. Sol-Do replicates this on a local level, providing an all-day, scenic festival experience accessible to all ages and incomes. Our goal is to create an environment where anyone can arrive to spend a day connecting to nature, music, and community without the stress of paying for it. Sol-Do is free to the public and open to all ages. Our line-up will feature Main Stage bands as well as small acoustic acts. Activity booths will promote outdoor play and engagement with nature—chalk art, dancing, rock stacking, plant identification workshops, and craft activities. Local vendors will focus on handmade art, mutual aid, and alternative education resources. All food vendors will provide nourishing, inclusive meals.
Sol Do is hosted in a 500 person venue with 40% of attendees being families with 1-3 children under the age of 18, 60% being single adults ages 18-40. We feature 2 live stages, 15 local bands and acoustic artists and 10 local vendors consisting of artisans and community educators.
We inspire community members to disconnect from the overwhelm of daily life with a day dedicated to nature, creativity, and community connection free of charge. We promote local resources and original art, prioritizing a diverse showcase of performers, reflective of community values. We aim to provide a safe environment for children and families to enjoy a festival experience.

"Sol Do has been the highlight of my year! It’s empowering to see
musicians from all experiences share their art; it’s inspiring to see the community grow. It's a festival that really brings people together with
good music, food and community and I hope to see it grow each year. "
Maxwell Monroe
“Old people need to come here so they don’t get old; to get fresh energy from new artists and musicians, to blow the dust off their comfort zone, to maybe spark a creative project they’ve been putting off, to reopen their mind to the fun they had when they were young”
Victor Broski
"I had the pleasure of performing at the 2023 Sol-Do music festival and it was a great experience all around! The atmosphere felt very warm and welcoming and there were plenty of fun activities to participate in in-between sets. I got to make new friends and meet many talented creatives. The music was enjoyable and spanned across various genres so there was an artist for everyone to love. Overall, I had an awesome time. Festivals like Sol-Do are important for the community because it brings people together from all walks of life to share their mutual love for art and genuine human connection."
