Statement from the CEO/Executive Director
Despite the low funding RYTMO received in 2023, we continue to grow. The interest and outcomes are fantastic as we look to adding our program for those programs with special needs and cancer recovery. We're hoping 2024 leads to a strong collaborative within Anaheim with not only programs but opportunities to provide internships or employment. With the pandemic behind us, RYTMO is ready to go. We continue to work with wraparound agencies throughout Orange County and will explore the possibilities of adding the RYTMO curriculum into a high school. Early 2024, RYTMO did add a program for adults with intellectual disabilities in Anaheim.
Statement from the Board Chair/President
RYTMO's board with the addition of adding consultants also is growing. We were very excited to have a former RYTMO student, who was nominated to attend Berklee College of Music 5-week summer performance program a few years back, was so good. she was offered a full 4-year scholarship to Berklee. Upon graduation, she worked at the two biggest artist's agencies in music, is a music consultant and has now joined the RYTMO board. Our board has long-term members who have helped provide funding and in-kind services. We all are excited to see what the future not only brings to RYTMO, but to the youth RYTMO serves.
