With over 50 years in the music industry, Mike has been a songwriter, producer, studio musician, bass guitarist, performer, manager, A&R and booking agent. At 17 years old, Mike signed an artist contract under legendary producer Robert "Bumps" Blackwell (Little Richard, Sam Cooke, Quincy Jones, Lou Rawls, Herb Alpert, Lou Adler, Dinah Washington, Sarah Vaughn, Jimi Hendricks, Bob Dylan, Redbone and many others. Mike has worked with many of the oldies (The Coasters, Rosie and the Originals, Jewel Akens - the Birds and the Bees, Brenton Wood, Little Richard, The Association, Redbone, The Shondells and many others and jazz and blues legends ( Guitar Shorty, James Carrol Booker, Earl Palmer, Barney Kessel, Rene Hall, Bessie Griffin and others). Served 10 years as the President of the Board for the Orange County Symphony and was recognized for his influence and contributions to the music industry by being selected to join NAMM'S Oral History Library in 2014. Mike continues to serves as Board President for Vibrant Minds Charter School in Anaheim.
