PROGRAMS
Coast Film & Music Festival
Held in Laguna Beach, California in November, is an annual showcase of adventure and non-fiction films and stories from the mountains to the sea. Stories are curated to entertain, inform, and inspire audiences of all ages to push personal boundaries and be better stewards of the planet.
We screened 80 documentary films from filmmakers who are seasoned professionals and first timers.
• We hosted 89 filmmakers, artists, professional athletes and changemakers.
• 12 live music performances including a variety of local and California bands.
• The inaugural Coast Summit was held
• The Follow The Light Surf Photography Awards recognized the top five next generation of surf photographers from around the world.
• The Coast Emerging Filmmaker student film program sponsored by GoPro showcased a dozen films to students, parents, friends and teachers and followed by an inspiring speaker panel.
• The “Do Good Village” engaged and inspired families and young attendees about ocean and land stewardship through art, games and workshops.
• Outdoor experiences explored local coastlines, beaches and trails.
• The “Coast Presents” Elementary School program reached over 600 3rd and 4th graders with inspirational stories.
• Laguna Beach High School FLOW program presented inspirational and informative stories to high school classes and volunteered opportunities at CFMF.
