Educating Students Together is a Non-Profit dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty and improving the quality of life for foster and low-income youth by helping them access and complete post-secondary education.

Since 2003, Educating Students Together has been an award winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving thousands of students reach their college dreams.

The EST College Access Program recently completed a successful fiscal year in 2024. Here are a few key statistics from the past year:
• 100% of all program participants are low-income
• 100% of all program participants were accepted into, and now attend college
• 100% of all students complete their financial literacy module
• Over $6.9 million: The total amount of outside scholarships received by our program

According to the Pew Charitable Trust, when foster youth leave high school and do not enroll in college, within two to four years, many experience unemployment, go on public assistance, battle homelessness, or become involved in the criminal justice system. The outcomes for foster youth who do attend college are equally as dire. Less than 3% of former foster youth ever graduate from college without the support of a warm and caring individual.
