Respond to NOAA-approved credible reports of entangled whales off the Orange County coastline to assess, document and initiate disentanglement efforts.
EWROC team members will continually receive training, maintain equipment and be available for immediate response.

Outcomes
Achieve an average response time of less than two hours from the initial report to the deployment of a disentanglement team. Maintain a successful response rate of 95% for verified reports of entangled whales.
