CEO/Executive Director Experience

Meghan Medlin has been a leader in the workforce development and reentry community since 2006. In 2019, she founded Medlin Workforce & Reentry Solutions LLC, a consulting company that assists nonprofit organizations, county agencies, and employers with program development, training, strategic planning, and grant management. Meghan’s passion for helping people with backgrounds find quality employment opportunities inspired her to establish Hub for Integration, Reentry & Employment (HIRE) in 2020 in response to the growing need for employment and service linkages in Orange County. Under Meghan’s leadership, HIRE has become a cornerstone of the reentry ecosystem in Orange County, transforming lives through innovative programs. Since last year, HIRE has grown its annual revenue from $233,468 to over $1 million and is currently developing Orange County’s first-ever Workforce Reentry Training Facility in partnership with the County of Orange/OC Cares. The new facility will offer vocational training, mental health services, and employment assistance for system-impacted individuals, further strengthening HIRE’s ability to provide life-changing services. Meghan’s dedication to recidivism reduction, workforce development, and poverty eradication has been recognized throughout the community. She has been an integral part of key initiatives such as Prop 47, AB109, Ban the Box, and the Continuum of Care, and currently represents the community on the Orange County Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council. Meghan also serves as a Peer Reviewer for the U.S. Department of Justice and is an active member of the FBI Citizen’s Academy Alumni Association and InfraGard Los Angeles. Meghan holds a BS in Chemistry from the University of Redlands, a certificate in Gang Prevention and Intervention from Coastline Community College, and a Master of Advanced Study in Criminology, Law & Society from UC Irvine.
