Endowment/Capital Campaigns
Are you currently in a Capital Campaign? Yes
Capital Campaign Purpose:
Junior Achievement of Orange County and Inland Empire (JA OCIE) is launching a $400,000 capital campaign to fund the creation and launch of JA Finance Park Pop-Up: A Mobile Experience—a fully transportable, immersive financial literacy and career readiness simulation designed to reach students in low- to moderate-income schools across Orange County and the Inland Empire.
This mobile model transforms our traditional, site-based JA Finance Park into a flexible, modular simulation that is brought directly to schools and community sites, removing transportation and funding barriers that often prevent participation. The experience includes branded simulation stations, interactive digital tools such as tablets, and trained community and corporate volunteers who guide students through the hands-on process.
Following in-class lessons, students participate in a 6-hour immersive simulation, assuming a real-world persona with a career, income, family structure, and financial responsibilities. They make budgeting decisions across essential categories like housing, food, transportation, savings, and childcare—mirroring the challenges of adult life and preparing them for future financial independence.
The capital campaign will fund the design, production, equipment, transportation infrastructure, and launch of the mobile program. Once operational, it will serve up to 3,000 students annually, expanding equitable access to high-quality personal finance education while strengthening decision-making skills, confidence, and career readiness.
This one-time investment offers a scalable, sustainable solution to deliver life-changing education directly to communities that need it most.
