Choral Scholar Program

The Laguna Beach Choral Scholars Program is a new pre-professional training initiative designed to provide high-level ensemble experience for emerging classical vocalists. In partnership with Chapman University’s Voxtet, we will offer paid internships to eight voice performance majors during the 2025–2026 season. Participants will receive weekly chamber ensemble training and rehearsals led by Dr. Ryan Brown, Artistic Director of the Laguna Beach Chamber Singers and incoming Director of Choral Activities at Chapman University. 28 paid calls across the season to prepare and perform a diverse and rigorous choral repertoire. Mentorship and performance opportunities that directly align with ensemble career pathways such as section leaders, oratorio soloists, and chamber choir members. The program’s design ensures a hands-on, performance-based experience in a professional setting while helping students build a portfolio and network within the classical music community of Orange County.

Monthly Summer Front Porch Concerts

This program features a quartet of singers from the choir who will produce a full concert of solos, duets, and choral numbers and offered free to the public.
