CEO/Executive Director Experience
Dave Lugo joined the organization in August 2017 as Chief Operating Officer and brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership in the fields of health and education. Prior to MOMS, Lugo was Chief Operations Officer ExplorOcean/Ocean Quest in Newport Beach. Additionally, he served as the agency’s Secretary of the Investment Committee, where he provided oversight on fund allocations for an $8 million investment portfolio. Before ExplorOcean, Lugo was the Director of Finance and Operations at The Children’s Dental Center in Los Angeles.
