Education Intersections Initiative

This program aims to foster belonging and equity for everyone in our K-12 public schools. Our overarching goal is to eliminate structural racism and other forms of discrimination within these schools. At present, we are focusing on developing community schools in Anaheim that prioritize racial justice and relationship-building. We implement a bridging approach as we organize, empower and partner with interest-holders.

Build a coalition of community-based organizations to engage in equitable education policy change led by residents.
Drive policy change and systemic transformation that eliminates inequities and creates belonging for all

Belonging for All Immigrants

This program aims to develop belonging and equity for all immigrants. Our primary goal is to ensure that all immigrants and immigrant communities are fully included and feel a sense of belonging in both public and private spaces. While immigrants are often appreciated for the work they contribute to our community—which is essential—they are much more than just workers. We organize with immigrants, primarily focusing on the Latinx community, to develop leadership skills and advocate for equitable policies.
