Public School Defenders Hub

The "Hub" is a coalition of pro-education organizations committed to defending public schools against the detrimental impacts of anti-public education forces. We have an Advisory Committee comprised of twelve established regional leaders in public education and we hold bimonthly Advisors conferences. We host a digital Rapid Response network platform for local advocates to request and receive referrals, resources, and support. We offer quarterly, lawyer-led, in person and virtual online school board Monitors & Observers trainings to prepare volunteers for holding boards accountable. We also host a website Resource Library with free access to information and tools. Our program conducts biannual coalition conferences and free, attorney-led training for volunteer school board monitors and observers. We produce and disseminate counter-disinformation messaging and public education information through Social Media. We conduct ad-hoc information-gathering and vital communication/transparency about current topics such as county schools implementation compliance with state mandated education programs.
