Little Fish Theatre

LITTLE FISH THEATRE, a 65-seat AEA Membership Company Theatre which opened in 2002, presents a year-round season of new, classic and contemporary works in Redondo Beach (formerly in San Pedro). Its annual "Pick of the Vine Short Play Festival" is starting its 23rd year. Programming recommendations are solicited and considered from the ensemble of Company Members and the season is based upon projects put forth by the members.

At LITTLE FISH THEATRE (LFT) we are producing 8+ full-run productions annually (plus additional single night events), averaging 70% capacity. LFT is going through a transition as it creates a new theatre space at a new location (as of March 2024 ) in Redondo Beach. Additional programming is being developed to serve both current audiences and new partners on the campus of Beach Cities Health District.

Admission FREE Summer Shakespeare

An Annual FREE Shakespeare Festival that tours to over 14 cities throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties bringing (2) professional full-length Shakespeare productions performed in repertory each summer to neighborhood parks and open-air public spaces. Over 13,000 people experience the plays at open-air venues in their communities.

The goal of Admission FREE Shakespeare is to present work that is both spectacular and profound in neighborhood communities, helping to revitalize our public parks, providing intellectual enlightenment, and encouraging appreciation of and access to the Arts, Since 1998, SBTS and LFT have reached over 585,000 youth and their families, seniors and individuals in Southern California with quality arts and educational programs.
