Mission Statement
Our purpose is to improve the lives of Military Veterans and First Responders suffering from PTS and other mood disorders by providing innovative cost free neurofeedback/brain paint treatments.
Background Statement
In 2017, Bob Kingsbury served as Executive Producer on a Documentary Film project with Emmy Award Winning Director/Writer and family friend Mark Kirkland. The film is titled Bud’s Odyssey and tells the epic WWII survival story about his Dad, Robert E Bud Kingsbury. Bud’s Odyssey was shown at over 15 film festivals in the US and Internationally and received numerous awards. During the making of this film, Bob became acutely aware of his Dad’s struggle with Post Traumatic Stress and how his whole family dealt with it growing up. Bob had subsequently suffered with chronic insomnia and sought treatment in Neurofeedback/Brain Paint at Dr. DiSiena’s office where he not only found relief from this condition, but also discovered that Brain Paint is a significant and clinically proven treatment for PTS. A partnership then began to help our Vets and First Responders gain healing by free treatments in Brain Paint, nutritional counseling, and chiropractic care. Bud’s Odyssey Foundation began in 2017 and has proven to be a catalyst for healing, relief from PTS symptoms and overall health. Bob is supported by an incredible team of dedicated people who truly care about our Vets and First Responders and share a united vision to give them the healing and quality of life they deserve for serving our country.
Impact Statement
Impact- Accomplishments:
1. We have accomplished increased capacity to help our Veterans and First Responders by utilizing offices in Southern/Central California and Arizona, with a 90% success rate of healing of PTS symptoms of those who completed our program.
2. Fostered relationships with other Non-Profits to facilitate after care and provide other needs.
3. Our Irvine location has a Hyperbaric chamber and have expanded the office space to add three more treatment rooms.
Impact- Current Goals:
1. Our current goals for future impact include an increase of Veterans and First Responders helped by 25%. The more people in these communities that can obtain healing from PTS will create more functional and resilient public servants that can better protect and serve our world and communities.
2. We are continually searching for ways to obtain larger donations/grants in order that we can expand our services to serve other U.S. states.
3. Update website to automate monthly newsletter and other communications to donors and to previous and current individuals in the program.
Needs Statement
1. Financial support to meet our goal of 500K to facilitate our ongoing expansion.
2. We are currently in need of more people in our program.
3. We are also in need of free advertising via corporate sponsors or other channels, along with other avenues to grow awareness to the public about our mission.

Statement from the CEO/Executive Director
Since I was young, I was raised to love this country and the military men and women that protect it. My Dad came home from WWII where he was a POW and lost his entire crew B-17. At 23 he had a bad case of PTS and growing up in his household I saw what it does to a man as well as his family. Then came my passion for helping people with PTS. After my retirement I vowed to find some way to help these wonderful people. I met Dr D 5 years ago and discovered how Brain paint worked and how it was used to heal. I started my foundation and we have been treating people now for over 4 years with a 90% success rate. Seeing this success has helped me be inspired to grow our foundation to heal even more than ever. We have an incredible country and our military, and first responders derive nothing less than receiving our help for making their lives better. Our work continues every day to champion healing among this worthy community.

Statement from the Board Chair/President
In 2005, I traveled to Italy to re-unite with the family that helped rescue Grandpa Bud on the beach at Vallo della Lucania, which inspired me to start wanting to tell Grandpa’s story to the world. In 2006, I moved back home to help with Grandpa Bud, as his health had declined. Through many visits to the VA Hospital with him, I saw so many warriors who were still fighting the battles in their minds. It was then I knew that Grandpa Bud’s story had to be told so that others could benefit somehow. That dream became a reality as I had the honor of being Executive Producer and Narrator for the film Bud’s Odyssey, the epic survival story of my Grandpa, Robert E. “Bud” Kingsbury. The film was a great success, and the natural progression was the creating of a Non-Profit so that our heroes and civil servants could find healing and strength, and to break the stigma of mental health challenges.
Through our partnership with treatment offices that provide Brain Paint/Neurofeedback, there has been an incredible success rate since B.O.F began, and our goals are set on creating opportunities so that all who need healing from PTS have that option. The VA Hospitals are a great service, but B.O.F fills in the missing gap where they are not getting the proper assistance or treatments, and as an alternative to traditional medicine. Many testimonies of those in our program stated they were able to re-unite with loved ones, finally have meaningful relationships, and have true well-being. They are also able to move forward without depending on medications or other substances, which is a huge benefit to themselves, loved ones and society in general. My passion is to help others find healing and strength and I consider it a great honor to serve our heroes in Bud’s Odyssey Foundation.
