Mission Statement

“At Table 4 Ten, we raise vital financial resources for Orange County nonprofits while advancing culinary arts through scholarships and hands-on experiences. We partner with chefs, restaurants, culinary schools and sponsors to elevate students, champion equity and inclusion across our community, and ensure underserved members of our region gain opportunity, training and hope for the future.”

Background Statement

Table 4 Ten, Inc. was founded to bring together Orange County’s vibrant culinary community—chefs, restaurants, sponsors, and students—in support of the region’s next generation of culinary talent. Each year the organization hosts a signature gala in Orange County featuring more than 40 top chefs preparing tableside dinners for ten guests per table, exquisite wine pairings, and immersive culinary experiences.

The event raises critical funds for culinary arts scholarship programs in Southern California, including the Pascal Culinary Arts Scholarship Program at Saddleback College Foundation and other affiliated schools.

Through this unique blend of high-end dining and charitable purpose, Table 4 Ten has created a platform that links the food industry’s top talent with philanthropic engagement and student opportunity.

Impact Statement

By channeling the culinary excellence of the region into educational opportunity, Table 4 Ten has made a tangible difference in the lives of aspiring chefs. Through the annual event and year-round partnerships, the organization provides scholarships and internships to students pursuing education and careers in the culinary arts—especially those under-served or facing financial barriers.

These grants cover tuition, books, equipment and other essential costs, enabling students to focus on their training and professional growth. The hands-on event also elevates awareness of the culinary field and fosters connections between students, top-tier chefs and industry stakeholders. As a result, Table 4 Ten helps turn student aspiration into career momentum, while advancing equity and inclusion in Orange County’s food and hospitality sector.

Needs Statement

Orange County’s hospitality and culinary sectors are cornerstones of the local economy, yet many aspiring chefs and hospitality professionals lack the financial means or professional connections to pursue formal training and sustainable careers in the field. Tuition, equipment, and certification costs for accredited culinary programs can easily exceed what many students—especially those from underserved backgrounds—can afford. Without access to scholarships and mentorship, a large pool of promising young talent risks being excluded from one of Southern California’s most dynamic industries.

Table for Ten, Inc. exists to bridge that gap—connecting Orange County’s world-class culinary community with students and nonprofits in need of support. Through its signature annual gala and ongoing partnerships, Table for Ten raises critical funds to:

Provide scholarships and direct assistance to students in culinary arts programs across Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

Support hands-on learning opportunities that link students with professional chefs, restaurateurs, and hospitality leaders.

Continued investment in Table for Ten is vital to sustain and expand these programs. Each sponsorship, donation, and partnership helps create pathways for education, employment, and empowerment—ensuring that culinary talent and community compassion continue to thrive together in Southern California.
