Kids Summer Program
The VOR Kids Program for refugees, held during the summer, is dedicated to fostering resilience and personal growth among refugee children. Through a series of engaging activities and workshops, the program focuses on helping these young participants build a strong character, understand and manage their emotions, and navigate the various challenges they face in their new environments. By providing a supportive and nurturing atmosphere, the VOR Kids Program empowers refugee children to develop the skills necessary for a brighter, more confident future. Your donation today will enable us to serve refugee children in multiple ways throughout the summer, providing them with enriching experiences and valuable skills in arts, technology, sports, and media.
The outcome of our summer program for refugee children is transformative and multifaceted. By the end of the program, participants will have developed stronger emotional resilience, a deeper understanding of their own emotions, and effective strategies for overcoming challenges. They will have gained new skills in arts, technology, sports, and media, fostering creativity and confidence. Additionally, the supportive community environment will have helped them build meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging. Ultimately, our summer program will equip these children with the tools and mindset necessary for them to thrive in the new home of the United States.
