CEO/Executive Director Experience
Chris Khoury is the current Executive Director for Voice of Refugees. Born as a stateless refugee with Palestinian nationality, he was raised in Beirut, Lebanon, where he lived for 30 years. During this time, he earned his Master of Business Administration from the Middle East University and worked in the nonprofit sector for almost 10 years. However, being stateless, Chris was not only considered a permanent refugee, but also was not welcomed in the country due to his proclaimed faith in Jesus Christ as his personal savior. Chris is married to his wife, Hiba. They met in Lebanon and had to move to the United States due to the drastic situation in Lebanon that formed a threat on their families. Chris and Hiba are pursuing God's calling for their lives through serving refugees from different countries and ethnicities. Chris' mission at Voice of Refugees is to help other refugees and displaced individual find their purpose, and trust God as their only refuge and savior through a variety of programs and services.
