Immigration Legal Services

This program provides direct legal services and education for immigrants and their families. The services are low cost or pro bono for low-income California residents. The direct legal services include application and representation for DACA, citizenship, family reunification, lawful permanent residence, work authorization, asylum, temporary protected status, and other survivor-based benefits. The outreach and education for immigrants include Know Your Rights, Family Preparedness, and resource navigation.

Church and Community Engagement

This program partners with local churches and the broader community to welcome, advocate with, and support the integration of refugees and immigrants. It equips churches with biblical and practical resources to foster a compassionate response to immigration, including tools for teaching and preaching about hospitality. Community members are invited to get involved in meaningful ways—whether by serving as a Community Advocate who raises awareness and engages with local elected officials, tutoring clients in ESL or Civics as they pursue citizenship or joining a Good Neighbor Team. These teams, made up of small groups of volunteers, commit to walking alongside newly arrived immigrant families for 6 to 12 months, offering friendship, practical support, and a pathway to community belonging.
