Bruno Serato is the owner of the Anaheim White House Restaurant. In 2003 he founded Caterina's Club, which originally focused its efforts on helping low-income children specifically in downtown Anaheim. The impact of Caterina’s Club has grown into an organization dedicated to providing food and stable housing to homeless children and their families, and education opportunities in the culinary industry to the economically challenged and homeless teens. Serato has quickly become one of Southern California's leading go-to experts on childhood hunger and homelessness in low-income communities. He has also used his platform within the restaurant industry to duplicate his service model by replicating our program with local, national and international restaurateurs and chef's in their own communities. Serato was named a Hometown Hero by PEOPLE Magazine, recognized as a CNN Hero in 2011, and recently received the 2018 Ellis Island Award for outstanding US service by an immigrant.
