We believe in providing responsive services for communities, families and children.

For over 45 years, Catalyst Family Inc., has prepared children for success by creating a foundation for life-long learning. We began as Continuing Development Inc., and in 2020, we re-branded as Catalyst Family Inc. Under the Catalyst Family umbrella, there are four divisions: Catalyst Kids, Catalyst Camps, Catalyst Community and Expanded Learning Opportunity Programs (ELO-P). These four divisions provide comprehensive services for families such as childcare, court waiting rooms, resource and referrals, teen parent programs, camps and more.

At Catalyst Family Inc., we foster strong communities through high quality childcare and youth development programs where all kids shine. We care for 1,500 children daily across Catalyst Kids locations in Orange County, 60% of whom have their tuition subsidized. After school, over 400 kids laugh and play together each day in Catalyst ExpandEd Learning programs. Our Children's Waiting Rooms in Orange County courthouses provide a secure haven for over 90 kids each month when parents handle court matters.

To help more families access high-quality, reliable childcare, we're relaunching our Scholarship Fund. Invest in your community by helping local families get the childcare they need. Help give out $150,000 in scholarships by the end of the school year. Your donation will change a family's future.

Orange County

After another remarkable year, I am grateful to all of our Catalyst teams, our dedicated Board of Directors, and, most importantly, our families and communities that have entrusted us with providing a full circle of support centered around the family. I am delighted to share some outstanding accomplishments and initiatives that have defined our organization this past year.

Our agency has experienced unparalleled growth and this year we welcomed the newest division to our Catalyst Family: Catalyst ExpandEd Learning. In fulfilling our mission to provide responsive services to communities, families, and children, we created Catalyst ExpandEd Learning to address the increased need for after-school programs. In partnering with school districts in Orange County, we have ensured that even more school-age children gain access to our unique quality programs.

Additionally, due to the continued need for infant and toddler care, we will continue to add many new programs at our Catalyst Kids locations. This care is an essential investment during these crucial formative years and a future investment for our communities. We are proud of our dedicated team of educators committed to providing a nurturing environment that promotes early cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.

Catalyst Community continued working tirelessly to serve families through our Children's Waiting Rooms in courthouses, which provides childcare for kids while their parents deal with court business.

As we look to the future, I am filled with excitement and optimism, knowing that our commitment to meeting the needs of our families and communities remains steadfast. As we continue to grow, we will continue to invest in our staff and provide them with the necessary tools and resources to achieve our long-standing Catalyst standard of excellence.
