Recovery

The recovery program provides step by step support for communities affected by disaster; to eliminate additional, often unintentional homelessness during a national housing crisis. Recovery services include disaster navigation, long term recovery case work, claim assistance, policy review, strategy and tactics, among other necessary support services. The recovery program primarily focuses on residential fire loss, and may be applied to complex incident or large scale disaster in the OC area.

Upgrade

High risk populations should be able to live in a risk free environment. For elderly, veteran, single parent, and target risk groups; our organization may be utilized to upgrade fire safety equipment and the safety features of existing structures to create a safe haven to live, connect and thrive within the community.

Community Connect

The Community Connect program supports communities and first responder agencies affected by disaster at the initial incident. The Community Connection program provides long term recovery education, support and assistance to affected communities. The Connect program aims to support, safeguard and protect the health and safety of the neighborhood. The International Fire Foundation connects affected communities and first responder agencies before, during and after disaster. Under the program, volunteer emergency response teams (ERTs) deploy to support affected communities during emergency incidents. ERTs deliver incident support, step by step recovery education, long term support, and necessary resources to heal affected communities after disaster. Community Connect collaborates with first responder agencies to support local charity events benefiting the affected community. Community Connection encompasses IFF's mission to make safer, resilient communities before, during and after disaster.
