Educational Programs
In addition to IPSF's fundraising efforts, IPSF provides a number of educational programs to supplement the district's curriculum and to enhance students' educational experience. -IPSF Afterschool Enrichment Program (ACE) is a high-quality district-wide program that provides opportunities for students in elementary and middle schools to extend the school day and participate in classes both fun and academic on their school campus. Serving students in grades K-12, enrichment classes span a variety of subjects, such as STEM, coding, the arts, chess, SAT prep, sports, math, leadership, digital animation and filmmaking, musical performances, and more. -IPSF Summer Classes & Camps is offered to Orange County students in grades PreK-12 (June - August), providing more than 220,000 hours of student enrichment to nearly 7,000 students in 2024. The majority of classes are taught by current Irvine Unified teachers across two 15-day sessions and one-week specialty camps. -Innovative Grants Program at IPSF offers teachers and staff in the Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) the opportunity to apply for funding to implement new and creative approaches to teaching and counseling. The purpose of this grant program is to support innovation in schools by awarding funds to launch new curriculum and improve the educational experiences of students. -IPSF rents over 2,400 high quality musical instruments at affordable prices to students in the Irvine Unified School District each year. Proceeds support music programs across the district. The Instrument Rental program offers parents a less expensive alternative to purchasing a new instrument that may only be used for a short time.
The long term success of IPSF programs is to enrich the educational experience for every child in each school. Thanks to the generous support of our community of supporters, IPSF has succeeded in providing:
* $105M in grants and program support since 1996
* 7,500 students in grades TK-3 have music in their schools
* 20,000+ enrollments in afterschool and summer programs each year
