Mrs. Sally Parkin
CEO/Executive Director Experience
Mrs. Parkin received her B.A. degree from Miami University graduating Summa Cum Laude and her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Concordia University. Hired as the original LEAP Executive Director in February 2000, Mrs. Parkin developed and expanded the LEAP organization and programs culminating in LEAP being granted a nonprofit 501(c)(3) status in 2008. Prior to joining LEAP, Mrs. Parkin served in community leadership roles including Projects and Administrative Vice-President, Junior League of Orange County; PTO President, Hewes Middle School; President, Foothill High School Education Fund; Chairman, Foothill High School Site Council. In earlier employment with nonprofit organizations, Mrs. Parkin worked in fields of volunteer development, research and grant writing. She also served as a reading intervention teacher in the Tustin Unified School District.
