CEO/Executive Director Experience
Brian Johnson is the co-founder and Co-Artistic Director of the Electric Company Theatre. Brian has directed and produced over 200 productions in-and-around the Fullerton area over the past 20 years. He was the Artistic Director of the La Habra Theater Guild for 18 years, the Co-Director of Fullerton Children’s Repertory Theater for 10 years, and has directed for STAGES Theatre in Fullerton, The Muck, and Biola Youth Theater. He has a degree from Biola University and a Master’s degree in Theater Production and Design from Southern Oregon University. He is currently the full-time Theatre Arts Teacher/Director at First Avenue Middle School in Arcadia (www.firstavenuetheatre.com). Callie Prendiville Johnson is the co-founder and Co-Artistic Director of the Electric Company Theatre For ECT: Baruska in Once, Viola in Shakespeare in Love; director: The Old Man and the Old Moon; director/playwright: The Leo Fender Project, Alice: An Immersive Adventure. Her play Blamed: An Established Fiction was selected to perform Off-Broadway at the Soho Playhouse. Callie's play The Plummer Project received a California Stories Grant from California Humanities. She has performed at MOXIE Theatre (where she served as Associate Artistic Director for five years), South Coast Repertory, La Jolla Playhouse, North Coast Repertory, Los Angeles Opera, Long Beach Playhouse, Chance Theatre.
