Endowment/Capital Campaigns
Are you currently in a Capital Campaign? Yes
Capital Campaign Purpose:
The Little Ones Animal Center’s capital campaign is focused on sustaining lifesaving medical care and ensuring the long-term stability of our foster-based rescue operations.
Funds raised through grants and our annual fundraising event directly support essential operating costs such as insurance, emergency medical treatment, and advanced veterinary diagnostics including X-rays, lab work, and surgical procedures. These resources allow us to respond immediately when high-risk animals are surrendered or rescued from overcrowded shelters.
For example, in 2025 we rescued two puppies suffering from parvovirus — a life-threatening illness requiring intensive hospitalization. Even with a 20% veterinary discount, treatment costs exceeded $7,000 per puppy, with only a 30% chance of survival. Situations like these are unfortunately common in rescue work, and without dedicated funding, many animals would not receive the care needed to survive.
This campaign ensures that no dog is turned away due to medical costs and that every rescued animal receives the chance to heal, recover, and find a loving home.
