Psychiatry
In addition to offering affordable talk therapy, we are adding affordable psychiatry. People needing medical interventions will be seen by a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, given a prescription, if appropriate, that they can fill at their convenience. The Center will cover the cost for those unable to pay. We need your help to provide this service.
Providing both talking therapy and psychotropic interventions to those struggling with their mental health will improve the wellbeing of the individual, their family and their community.
PARENTING: ENGLISH and SPANISH
Small group learning child management techniques in 8 weeks based on Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP.)
Parents who complete this 8 week training will be able to manage conflicts, provide appropriate discipline and support the growth of their children.
AFFORDABLE COUNSELING
We offer affordable counseling for families, couples, children and individual adults. No one is turned away for financial reasons. Our program is directed at those people who are unable to pay or can pay only a small amount. At this time our average fee for an hour of therapy is $17, compared to the traditional cost of $175 an hour.
Individuals, Couples and Families will be able to function successfully, cope with life's challenges and maintain healthy ways of living. Assisting the individual will improve their lives, their family and their community.
