Operations Costs
MenAlive is seeking funding to cover the basic operating costs of the organization. These costs include the costs for our contractors (Music Director/Conductor, Executive Director, Administrative Director) and software/infrastructure. Funding for our thrice yearly shows is raised through ticket sales, sponsorships and private donation.
MenAlive's super-power is visibility. As the only County LGBTQ chorus in the United States, MenAlive serves all 34 cities, 948 square miles and the 3.2 million residents that call Orange County home. Providing people a safe community and a chosen family is vital to suicide prevention, addiction recovery and isolation-related mental health outcomes. MenAlive can only continue this work with your support.
Web Presence Improvement
Redesign and modernize the MenAlive public web page.
MenAlive's current web page was put in place over 10 years ago and, other than content, has not been updated to reflect the organization's presence in the arts, business and nonprofit communities. This funding will allow MenAlive to completely update its web presence. It will enable us to incorporate accessibility for the differently abled and to integrate the latest site technologies with current business systems. Orange County is one of the most technically savvy and advanced regions in the US. The new website will allow MenAlive to better serve all of our community.
