Patriots and Paws

Patriots and Paws provides practical home goods and furnishings to Veterans, Active Duty and Reservists at no cost with our Provision for Patriots Program. We served all of Southern California.

Our Paws Program is working on creating a kennel where the same demographics can kennel their animals at no cost, when they have a need.

We partner with individual and business to fulfill our mission.

In August 2011, Patriots and Paws was born out of the love for our Veterans and the needs they have. After hearing the need for basic home furnishings, Patriots and Paws stepped up to serve the Military community.  At the beginning, it took a little while to locate those in need but once the  word got out, the work never stopped. The community is stepping up in helping out.  We feel it is important that the our donors see how important their donations are and where the items go, so we have made several video clips of those we have helped. Since our founding in 2011, Patriots and Paws has helped over 20,000 Veterans, Active Duty, and Reservists through over 160,000 volunteers hours to distribute over $22.5 million dollars in household goods.  In 2025 we served 3805 Veterans/Active Duty/Reservists.

Our first pressing need is general operating dollars.  We have basic operating expenses that include but are not limited to; vehicle insurance, business insurance, fuel, phones, advertising, marketing needs, payroll and workers compensation insurance and others.  In 2025, we now have 2 full time and 5 part time employees. 

Our second need is to get the word out to the public, about what our needs are in terms of donating home furnishings to us.  Also getting the word out to our Veterans, active Military and Reservist to let them know we are out there. We are in need of expanding to other locations so we can continue to help even more.

We service all Veteran/Active Duty/Reservists in Southern California regardless of their rank, disability, branch, or discharge status. 

Only 8% of our country has served in the Armed Forces. When you see that number, you notice how small that really is.  You don't have to agree to what we do or why we do it, but we strive to respect and honor those who made a decision to put their life on the line for our country when the need arose.  They follow their/our Commander In Chief and do what they are told and made the choice to defend our country.  Everyday as we enjoy our freedom, we need to remember it is because of the only 8% who fought for that right.

It is our honor to serve those who have provided our Freedom. We are filling a basic need that is often overlooked. You have those who provide the basics like food, housing, medical, but we fill a gap that is needed as well.
