Musical Productions
Too often, performing arts experiences that are high quality, educational, and career-building are too expensive for all families and students to participate in. Being a part of a musical performance is a foundational experience for a young artist- and Platinum Performing Arts wants to ensure that all students are able to have this opportunity. By providing a musical production at low cost and providing scholarships to students in low-income families and/or students with disabilities, Platinum seeks to make sure any child who wants to participate can participate without barriers. However, the materials needed for a full-scale musical is costly, and providing professional instructors who can truly give the educational experience that students deserve is rightfully costly, as well. Support for this program helps ensure that Platinum Performing Arts can cover the cost of the instructors, theatre rental, theatre staff, set, costumes & script license and help students shine onstage.
1: A high quality full-scale musical production that is accessible and affordable to students in and around Orange, CA.
2: A performance opportunity for children that aims to build life-long skills through musical theatre, including self-confidence, public speaking, teamwork, self-awareness, problem solving, and empathy.
3: An experience that allows for students to discover, interact with, and potentially enter the professional performing arts industry by building necessary career skills in acting, dancing, and singing.
