Equine Services Program

Risen Warriors Foundation is honored to partner with the Wounded Warrior Battalion West at Camp Pendleton and the Intrepid Spirit Center at the Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital to provide transformative equine therapy services at Stepp Stables. Starting in March, warriors and their families referred by the Intrepid Spirit Center will participate in our program, which is designed to support emotional healing, resilience, and reintegration. Through groundwork, riding sessions, and therapeutic equine-assisted activities at Stepp Stables, participants—including family members—develop confidence, improve emotional regulation, and foster a renewed sense of purpose. With a contract being finalized with Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS), we aim to expand these services, ensuring that more warriors and their loved ones benefit from this impactful program. This initiative reflects our commitment to addressing the physical, mental, and spiritual challenges faced by our nation’s heroes and their families, empowering them to heal and thrive together beyond service.

Mental Health Services Program

Risen Warriors Foundation’s Virtual Therapy Services provide accessible, confidential, and effective mental health support for active-duty military, veterans, first responders, and their families. This program was created by an Army veteran and retired San Diego Police Detective who understands the unique needs of our warriors. His firsthand experience has shaped a platform designed to address trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and other mental health challenges specific to those who serve. Through secure video sessions, participants can engage in one-on-one counseling, group therapy, or family therapy sessions from the comfort of their own homes. Our therapists, guided by the insight of a fellow warrior, utilize evidence-based approaches tailored to the needs of uniformed heroes and their loved ones. By offering virtual therapy, we aim to bridge the gap in mental health care, ensuring that every warrior and family member has access to the tools and support they need to heal, grow, and thrive—no matter where they are.
