As a Marine veteran, Purple Heart recipient, and founder of Risen Warriors Foundation, I bring firsthand experience and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by those who serve our country and communities. My journey, from serving as a Sergeant and Machine Gunner in the Marine Corps to pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, reflects my unwavering commitment to serving others. In addition to my professional accomplishments, I am proud to celebrate nearly nine years of sobriety. This personal journey has given me a profound perspective on the resilience, strength, and support necessary to overcome life’s challenges. It also fuels my passion for creating programs that inspire transformation and healing. Over the years, I have dedicated my life to empowering active-duty military, veterans, first responders, and their families. My work includes coordinating veteran services for the Orange County Rescue Mission, leading faith-based initiatives through the Orange County Veterans and Military Family Collaborative, and supporting veteran transitions at Vanguard University’s Veterans Resource Center. Through Risen Warriors Foundation, I have created a sanctuary where warriors and their families can access holistic mental health care, equine therapy, and resilience-building fitness programs. My mission is to provide a comprehensive approach to healing—fostering hope, strength, and purpose for those who have given so much in service to others.
