Debra Baetz, B.A., M.B.A. (Interim CEO)

CEO/Executive Director Experience

With over 33 years in public administration, Debra joins our executive leadership team as Interim CEO with deep experience in social services. Over the span of her career, Debra has showcased remarkable leadership in various roles within the County of Orange, including as agency Director. Her accomplishments in establishing new programs and services to OC’s most vulnerable populations and instituting new and more efficient business processes have not only demonstrated her visionary leadership but have also enhanced the agency's ability to deliver impactful and compassionate services to those in need. Committed to social change and community improvement, Debra has served as Commissioner for the First 5 Orange County Children & Families Commission, Chair to the Orange County Children's Partnership, and Board Member to CalSAWs Joint Powers Authority Board. These are just to name a few of the very long list of community relations and partnerships she has built throughout her career. Today, Debra also serves as a Lecturer at California State University, Long Beach within the College of Health and Human Services. Debra's array of awards include being named a 2022 Healthcare Hero Honoree, a 2020 CSAC Innovation Award recipient, and a 2019 Orange County Business Council Red Carpet Award holder.
