Mission Statement
Meeting the urgent physical needs of foster kids, trafficking survivors, and families in crisis with radical generosity - breaking the cycle of and bringing hope.
Background Statement
Riverbank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2022 with the mission to meet the immediate needs of families and individuals in crisis across Southern California. We work to prevent children from entering foster care, support survivors of human trafficking, and assist individuals facing homelessness in securing the essential furnishings they need to rebuild their lives. Through partnerships with local agencies, churches, and nonprofits, Riverbank provides a foundation of stability for those facing some of life’s hardest challenges.
By delivering essential items directly to those in need—whether it’s a fridge, a bed, or a safe space—we help families stay together, empower individuals to rebuild their lives, and offer hope for a brighter future. Riverbank is driven by the belief that no one should have to struggle alone, and we are committed to creating lasting impact through radical generosity, community support, and compassionate action.
We are proud to serve families across Orange, Riverside, Los Angeles, and San Diego Counties, providing immediate relief, building stronger families, and helping individuals break free from crisis.
Impact Statement
At Riverbank, we believe that no one should face crisis alone. Through the generosity of our community, we have been able to make a tangible impact on the lives of individuals and families in need across Southern California.
In just a short time since our founding, we’ve helped keep families together, provided safe homes for survivors, and supported individuals facing homelessness by delivering essential items—like fridges, beds, and basic necessities—that offer stability and a fresh start.
Our work is not just about providing material goods—it’s about offering hope, dignity, and a chance for a brighter future. With every donation, partnership, and act of kindness, we’re creating lasting change and breaking the cycle of crisis for families in need.
Together, we’re empowering individuals to rebuild their lives and build stronger communities, one act of generosity at a time. The impact we’re making today is only the beginning.
Needs Statement
At Riverbank, we are committed to providing immediate relief to families and individuals in crisis. Despite the growing need, we face significant challenges in meeting the increasing demand for assistance. Across Southern California, families at risk of separation, survivors of human trafficking, and individuals facing homelessness are in urgent need of basic essentials like refrigerators, beds, and other home furnishings that are critical to rebuilding their lives.
The need for support continues to grow, and without these basic resources, many of these individuals struggle to find stability, let alone hope for the future. We are actively seeking additional donations, partnerships, and volunteer support to expand our capacity to serve those in need. With more resources, we can reach even more families, provide immediate relief to those in crisis, and help empower individuals to break free from difficult circumstances.
Your support is crucial in helping us continue this life-changing work. Together, we can provide the foundation for families to stay together, survivors to rebuild their lives, and individuals to regain their independence. With your help, we can make lasting change in the lives of those who need it most.
