Wellness & Prevention Coalition
The coalition works on a 10 year strategic plan to lower substance use among San Clemente youth.
Was chosen as a Drug Free Communities Mentee Coalition by the National Council on Alcohol and Drug Dependence Orange County
Middle School Mental Health & Wellness Edication
Provide universal, targeted, and individual prevention and treatment services in Middle Schools
Served over 160 youth and their families.
High School Mental Health Services and Wellness Education
We provide universal, targeted and individual prevention and mental health services at San Clemente High School.
Since 2014, we have helped over 360 youth and their families, provided education to over 4,000 high school youth and educated over 4,000 families about parenting teens.
Mental Health First Aid Training
5 years of Substance Use and Mental Health Services Administration (Federal) funding to lower the stigma surrounding the diseases of mental health and addiction and help community members access appropriate care.
In first year of grant - trained 3 professionals to teach Mental Health First Aid. Trained 50 community members in Mental Health First Aid.,
