‬ Marina Mondragon is a community advocate, nonprofit founder, and multipreneur dedicated to creating meaningful impact throughout Anaheim and Orange County. She is the founder of Wings of Kindness / Alas de Bondad, a nonprofit organization focused on uplifting single mothers, children, youth, and working families through wellness initiatives, educational resources, community support, and empowerment programs. Inspired by the resilience and legacy of her late mother, Marina has committed her life to creating safe, supportive, and opportunity-filled spaces where families can access not only basic needs, but also hope, healing, connection, and pathways toward long-term stability and success. Over the past three years, Wings of Kindness has impacted thousands of individuals and families throughout the community by increasing access to clothing, food assistance, educational support, wellness initiatives, community resources, and meaningful connections. Through quarterly community events and grassroots outreach efforts, families repeatedly return because the organization has become a trusted and welcoming space where people feel seen, supported, and connected. Marina’s work is rooted in the belief that stronger communities are built through compassion, empowerment, collaboration, and access to opportunity. By bringing together local organizations, schools, nonprofits, businesses, volunteers, and city partners, she continues helping bridge gaps for underserved and working families while contributing to safer and more connected neighborhoods. In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Marina worked in healthcare for over 16 years in patient advocacy, healthcare coordination, and administrative support roles. Throughout her healthcare career, she worked closely with patients and families navigating insurance systems, referrals, specialty care, authorizations, medical access, and healthcare barriers. She gained firsthand experience understanding how difficult and overwhelming healthcare systems can be, particularly for underserved communities, working families, Spanish-speaking households, and individuals seeking mental health services. Her healthcare background shaped her passion for reducing barriers to care and helping families feel empowered while navigating complex systems. Marina understands the importance of culturally responsive support, accessible communication, advocacy, and community-based solutions that help families connect to the services and resources they need. Marina is also the co-owner of Mondragon Family Market and Tacos Mondragon Catering, where she specializes in streamlining operations, building strategic relationships, strengthening community partnerships, and creating systems that support both business growth and community impact. Marina also serves as a strong advocate for mental health awareness, youth empowerment, family wellness, and community-centered healing. Through her leadership, she continues creating spaces where families can feel safe, supported, encouraged, and connected to opportunity. Her mission remains centered on building stronger families, empowering communities, and reminding people that no family should have to struggle alone.
