OUR STORY
For most kids, opportunity is something they’re given. For others, it’s something they never get to see. At Code 3 Golf, we exist for the kids who are still waiting.
In many communities across Orange County, opportunity isn’t evenly distributed. Access to enrichment, mentorship, and even safe afterschool environments isn’t guaranteed - and sports like golf often remain out of reach due to cost, access, and exposure. At the same time, many students struggle to connect what they’re learning in the classroom to the real world, leaving them disengaged and unsure of what’s possible for their future.
That’s where Code 3 steps in. We don’t just teach kids how to swing a golf club. We give them a place to belong, a reason to show up, and a path to grow.
Through fully funded programming, we provide underprivileged youth with access to golf, mentorship, and hands-on STEM learning experiences that connect academics to real life. Whether it’s understanding angles through a swing, calculating distance, or learning discipline through repetition, our approach turns learning into something tangible - and something they can believe in.
For many of our kids, this is their first introduction to golf. For some, it’s their first experience being mentored. For all of them, it’s a chance to see themselves differently. We meet students where they are, partnering with schools, community organizations, and afterschool programs to remove barriers like cost and transportation. By embedding our programs directly into the communities we serve, we create consistent access to environments that are safe, structured, and focused on growth.
But what matters most isn’t just what we teach…it’s what they take with them. Confidence. Discipline. Accountability. The belief that they can compete - not just on the course, but in life. Because at the end of the day, this isn’t about golf. It’s about changing the trajectory for kids who just need an opportunity and making sure they don’t have to wait for it any longer.
Mission Statement
Code 3 is on a mission to provide aspiring young athletes with the opportunity to grow through golf, providing access to the sport, promoting life skills, and fostering a sense of community and personal development. We aim to offer financial support, coaching, and educational opportunities to children from all backgrounds, helping them build confidence, discipline, and teamwork on and off the course.
Background Statement
Founded in 2025, Code 3 Golf was created to expand access to the game of golf and the life-changing opportunities that come with it for underprivileged youth across Orange County. Recognizing that cost, exposure, and access have traditionally limited participation, the organization was built to remove those barriers and create a more inclusive pathway into the sport.
From the beginning, Code 3 has focused on delivering fully funded programming that combines golf instruction with mentorship and structured support. By partnering with schools and community organizations, we are creating consistent access to an environment where young people can develop confidence, discipline, and a sense of direction, both on and off the course.
Impact Statement
Code 3 Golf is creating meaningful access to the game for underprivileged youth across Orange County, serving kids ages 8 to 18 through fully funded programming. By providing consistent coaching, mentorship, and a structured environment, we support youth at every stage of development - from early exposure to continued growth and skill building over time.
Our impact is reflected in the confidence kids build, the discipline they develop, and the consistency they begin to carry into other areas of their lives. More than just learning the game, participants gain a sense of accountability, belonging, and direction that extends far beyond the course. As we continue to grow, our focus remains on expanding access and building a strong, supportive community around every child we serve.
Needs Statement
As a newly established nonprofit, Code 3 Golf is focused on building a sustainable foundation to support long-term impact. Demand for our programs continues to grow, but our ability to serve more youth is directly tied to available funding.
Financial support is critical to sustaining day-to-day operations and expanding fully funded programming for underprivileged youth across Orange County. This includes covering essential costs such as coaching, equipment, facility access, and program coordination.
With increased funding, Code 3 Golf can provide consistent, high-quality programming to more kids, ensuring that financial barriers never limit a child’s ability to participate, grow, and benefit from the game.
