In 2025 in home care grant usage was up from 65% to 85%. Adult Day Care grant usage is up to 95% since the start of the program in April 2025. There were 200 respite grants awarded offering 25,000 hours of care. In the last 12 months there were 38 grants provided in California.
Online Support Groups
Free, professionally facilitated groups offering guidance, education, and peer connection for ADRD caregivers.
Year to date, HFC has supported 43 support groups with over 500 participants. In 2025 and through 2026 we have supported 204 individuals from California through our Support Group program.
Youth Movement Against Alzheimer’s (YMAA)
A global, chapter-based program for high school and college students focused on education, advocacy, and community engagement.
HFC has onboarded 21 new YMAA chapters in 2025 for a total of 102 chapters in 32 locations globally. HFC has added chapters in five new states so far this year. YMAA is now comprised of nearly 1,500 members and we had a significant presence at the most recent HOSA - hosting a booth and engaging with prospective members in attendance at the conference. In our application addendum for YMAA, we outlined additional outreach strategies to meet our metrics for the program, but due to organic growth of the program and continued visibility at HOSA we have not yet needed to execute additional outreach strategies.
HFCUniverse
Evidence-based, video-based brain health curricula delivered by experts and public figures.
In 2025 we had over 9,600 unique learners in our HFCU program. During the lifetime of the program we have had nearly 20,000 learners.
