Jim Burns is President of HomeWord  Jim speaks to thousands of people around the world each year. He has
over 2 million resources in print in over 25 languages. Some of his recent books include: The First Few Years of Marriage, Closer - 52 Devotions to Draw Couples Together, Doing Life with Your Adult Children and Have Serious Fun and 12 Other Principles to Make Each Day Count. Jim and his wife, Cathy, live in Southern California and have three grown daughters and three grandchildren.

HomeWord is continuing to create life-changing resources for couples and parents by offering parent seminars on topics that every couple and family face in today's culture. We also have an annual Refreshing Your Marriage Conference that is open to the public as well as the free online resources: daily e-devotional, Dr. Jim Burns' Blog, Culture Brief and podcast recordings. HomeWord YouTube Channel also provides video resources in marriage, parenting, and inspiration.  

2023 Strategic Initiatives
We’re focused on meeting a $3 million funding goal in the next
three years to achieve the following initiatives:
• Launch two weekly podcasts:
1) Marriage and Parenting
2) For Parents of Kids Under 10 (Parenting the Littles)
• Create 200 topical short-form videos
• Expand the HomeWord YouTube Channel
• Develop 10 new courses specifically geared for Next Gen parents and marriages
• Complete revamp of HomeWord’s social media “branding”
• Hire a new president with skillset to reach Next Gen parents and marriages
• Meeting an additional $1 million will hire new staffing to serve the Next Gen Ministry efforts
