CEO/Executive Director Experience
With over 20 years of working in the Jewish world, Scott has worked at the Barshop JCC in San Antonio, Texas, as the Youth and Teen Director and the Senior Assistant Director of the URJ Greene Family Camp. Before joining the Merage JCC, Scott served as the Assistant Executive Director of the Aaron Family JCC in Dallas, TX. A proud Longhorn, Scott holds a Bachelors's in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master's in Jewish Professional Studies from Spertus Insitute in Chicago. In addition, Scott has a Certificate in Jewish Education Specializing in Adolescents and Emerging Adults from Hebrew Union College-Institute of Religion-New York. He was also part of the inaugural cohort of the Leadership Certificate in Combating Antisemitism also through the Spertus Institute. Scott now resides in Aliso Viejo with his family.
