General Repairs and Operations Costs

We are a non-profit radio station with a worldwide reach that has hit it's 10th anniversary. With that, we are in need of upgrading some of our equipment to maintain broadcast standards. Being a radio station, it is important to be able to maintain our broadcasting while in the state of an emergency. Our backup battery system ceased to operate after a power outage we had in the area. We have been running our equipment during outages with a gas generator which is loud and unsustainable for a long period of time. We are looking to purchase a new backup battery system so we can seamlessly transition in case of an outage. Along with that, we have received approval for a solar generator from our landlord. This will be able to run that backup system without having to worry about a gas generator.  

Upgrade Equipment

Running a radio station requires a lot of expensive equipment. We hit our ten year mark and it is time to repair and replace in order to remain on air. We need a new backup battery system since ours no longer works, our antenna needs repairing since the cables are eroding from the salt water, our EAS system needs to be replaced, our transmitter has been faulty and the list goes on. We are asking for any assistance we can to be able to keep the station operational.
