Disaster Relief
Under the leadership of Founder and CEO Samuel Carter—who also serves as a Fire Department Chaplain—OCDC functions as a strategic logistical bridge during regional crises. This was most recently demonstrated during the 2025 Southern California wildfire season (Palisade, Eaton, Hurst, and Kenneth Fires), where OCDC mobilized a rapid-response network across Orange County to collect and deliver multiple pallets of essential food and clothing to the LA Dream Center for large-scale distribution. By combining executive vision with chaplaincy leadership, we ensure that emergency aid moves with professional efficiency from local donors to the front lines of community recovery.
Through this rapid-response mobilization, OCDC successfully diverted thousands of pounds of life-critical resources—including diapers, hygiene kits, and emergency apparel—directly to impacted churches and relief hubs in Los Angeles.
