Jane Dempsey was born in Southern California and has resided in Santa Monica, Ca for most of her life. She graduated from North Hollywood High School and the University of California at Los Angeles. Her professional career in the Travel Industry started as a travel consultant continuing a family business. After the 1989 death of her Old English Sheepdog Moses, she saw the need for an efficient rescue for Old English Sheepdogs and with Christine Pesche Bunsick, the 501 (c)(3) Old English Sheepdog Rescue was created. She continues to manage her career in the Travel Industry to allow her the freedom to volunteer time as she has for the past 36 years. She has served on the Board of Directors in various positions since the organization was founded.
