Shortstop & Stop Short of Addiction

With an evidence-based curriculum backed by 50 years of cultural adaptations, Shortstop & Stop Short of Addiction programming provides early intervention services for youth aged 10-18 that include restorative justice practices, juvenile diversion for youth offenders, and substance abuse prevention to support long-term behavioral change and positive youth development. Shortstop invests in youth, offering a path to healing and growth by providing a space where they can take accountability for their actions while learning ways to strengthen their family relationships and find hope for a brighter future. Shortstop’s efficient and effective use of the pillars of restorative justice, a holistic, whole-family approach, a team of skilled mental health professionals, law enforcement instructors, and incarcerated youth serving as credible messengers has made a significant impact on thousands of youth.

Career and Life Development Program

PYOC College & Career Access supports transition-aged youth in identifying meaningful career paths, completing postsecondary education or training, and developing the personal and professional skills needed for long-term success. Designed to support and enhance pathways built by educators, youth receive up to 12 individualized case management sessions using an intensive case management model adapted from the evidence-based Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA). The program offers personalized support and mentorship to help youth overcome challenges and achieve financial independence.

Familias Fuertes, Strong Families

Launching in Fall 2025 - This program provides tools and support for parents and caregivers to build stronger relationships with their children and themselves. Designed to improve parent engagement in their child’s academic and behavioral development and grant greater access to and utilization of community-based support services, it complements our youth programs by promoting whole-family well-being and resilience.

Project Self Internship Program

Project Self Internship Program helps students gain access to corporate work environments, career mentors & job exploration through 8-week paid summer internships.
