Mission Statement

Bring together residents 55+, to enjoy an active, connected, and independent lifestyle.

Background Statement

The Village was formed in 2015 to provide non-medical services to the Senior Citizens of San Clemente. Now serving residents 55+ in Dana Point and San Juan Capistrano as well. A 100% Volunteer driven organization, with one staff member. Truly an organization of Neighbors helping Neighbors.

Impact Statement

The Village provides over 3,000 direct services each year, equating to over 6,000 volunteer hours, and growing!

Needs Statement

With over 10,000 Americans turning 65 every day, the Boomer generation is aging at the fastest pace in history. Our country will be over 25% older adults by 2030. The need for aging services is the greatest it's ever been. The Village fills the gap in services by providing quality of life, practical services that help our older neighbors age in place and maintain their independence.

Geographic Areas Served

San Clemente, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano.

Top Three Populations Served
  • Seniors/Older Adults
  • Veterans
  • Households with limited English proficiency
Statement from the CEO/Executive Director

The Village provides crucial services to older adults. Our services are provided by Volunteers, and just one paid staff member. We need to increase our services and service area as the need increases. Funding will help us sustain and grow our organization for many years to come. Our number one need is capacity. We need to hire more staff in order to grow our reach and help more Seniors in South County.

Statement from the Board Chair/President

What the Village provides is invaluable to our community. Truly a grass roots organization that is passionate about helping our elders live their best lives. I'm honored to be a part of this very much needed, small but mighty organization. -Pete Antonic, Board President
